In a bid to cushion the effects of the devastating situation, occasioned by the Christmas Eve heinous and brutal attacks in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has directed the immediate mobilization of relief resources for surviving victims.
Describing the incident as “primitive and cruel attacks” that resulted in the tragic loss of many lives,Tinubu also directed adequate medical treatment for the wounded.
Meanwhile, the President has directed security agencies to immediately move in, scour every stretch of the zone, and apprehend the culprits.
President Tinubu, who gave the directive on Tuesday while condemning the genocide in very strong terms, condolled with the government and the people of Plateau State.
He, therefore, assured Nigerians that the envoys of death, pain, and sorrow would not escape justice.
